Welcome to the 2021-2022 Season of Maryland HIMSS!

We have missed you! Please join us for our first virtual event October 28th. Maryland HIMSS had hoped to host an in person networking event this month, but given the Delta Variant spread we decided in person would have to wait little longer.

Working in this new virtual/hybrid environment while still meeting the growing demands for innovative solutions has brought about new perspectives on managing and enhancing our careers.

Please join us for a 1 hour networking event “Understanding Skills Needed to be Successful in a Post Pandemic Workplace and Recruiting Environment” featuring guest speaker Doug Greenberg of Korn Ferry. Mr. Greenberg is the North America Market Leader for Healthcare and is based in Korn Ferry’s Atlanta office. He also serves as the Global Sector Leader for Healthcare Technology.

Mr. Greenberg’s search practice focuses on the recruitment of senior-level executives across healthcare. His clients include providers, payers and life sciences organizations, as well as for-profit healthcare services companies, professional services firms, digital health and healthcare information technology companies. Mr. Greenberg has a particular expertise in the convergence of healthcare and technology and technology-enabled services.

Mr. Greenberg  will also lead a panel discussion with several Maryland Health Care IT leaders and hiring managers including:

  • Vishal Vain, Associate CIO & Vice President,  University of Maryland Medical System
  • Jackie Rice, Vice President and  CIO, Frederick Health
