Lowe House of Delegates Building, Room 170, 6 Bladen Street, Annapolis, MD
Please join us for the 8th Annual Health IT Day of advocacy in Annapolis. Our agenda is focused on ‘Health IT in Action! Enabling Maryland to Achieve the Triple Aim’ where we will showcase how Health IT in use today aids in improving population health, enhancing patient quality and experience, and reducing the overall cost of care.
There is NO FEE to participate! However, you MUST REGISTER in advance online no later than February 13th at http://md.himsschapter.org as lead time is necessary to schedule individual meetings for you with your voting district legislators. Please respectfully plan to stay for the entire program as your legislators and/or legislative aid(s) have allocated time for you in the afternoon and will be expecting to meet you in person. Legislators place great value on contact with constituents so this is integral to Health IT Day success!
Check-in begins at 11:00amat the Lowe House of Delegates Building Room 170 with lunch following promptly at 11:30am. Delegate Susan Krebs will be providing opening remarks followed by a keynote presentation and panel discussion. The keynote will be presented by David Horrocks, President of CRISP. He will join the panel discussion and technology demonstrations will follow. Meetings with your Legislators begin at 3:00pm. Please see the agenda for additional detail.
